I hate to do this, but I must give a negative review of this product.

Also, if you don't have large hands it is really hard to hold the phone up while texting without it just falling backwards.
TechSpecMan
Firstly, the buttons are membrane buttons and not click type as in other slide out keyboards.

I recently moved from a Droid 4 to a Galaxy s4 because it had superior hardware, and a selection of bluetooth keyboard cases. (I am attached to my physical keyboard) Unfortunately this case was a huge letdown. The case itself makes the phone massively bulky, to almost comical proportions. On top of that, the case feels very cheap and fragile. Sliding the keyboard out is difficult, and the phone gets stuck on the sliders. The case blocks the phone's camera. The layout of the keys is so inefficient. The spacebar is too small, and too far to the left. Placement of punctuation keys is awkward. On top of all that the keys feel strange and cheap to press in. You also have to charge the keyboard separately.

Its a shame that phone companies are deciding to tell the consumers that we don't want physical keyboard phones with decent up-to-date specs, because I've talked to quite a few people who feel just the opposite. Unfortunately as long as everyone keeps buying current smartphones, and keep making terrible products like this, it is what we are stuck with.

I hate to do this, but I must give a negative review of this product. I come from a phone that has a great keyboard, the Samsung Epic. Unfortunately, the Epic is basically the galaxy S1 and thus incredibly dated. I moved to the S4 and hoped this keyboard would be a solution to my problems. It is actually worse than using the on-screen keyboard.

-Delete button is, for some reason, placed to the left of a search button. Samsung removed the search button from the capacitve displays for a reason: Who the hell uses a search button?

-Space bar is the size of two letters. This is incredibly small.

-Letters require a significant amount of force to push down.

-Very hard to type on when not STARING at it. Best part about my Epic is that I can walk somewhere and text on it as the keys are far enough apart that I can feel them out. These keys are all flat and right next to each other. This has absolutely no advantage over touch screen.

Shit, just COPY the exact design of the Epic keyboard. It's beautiful and it works. It's 5 row as well.

So, looks like I'm on the Epic until a good bluetooth keyboard is made. I'm running Android 4.2.2, so I'm not missing much.

Writing this review with the MegaGear keyboard. Nearly the same length and width as the phone, but a bit thicker. Easy to sync and use. Combo fits in shirt pocket and provides nice tactile keyboard missing from the Galaxy S III.

I bought two pcs of the bluetooth keyboard for my GS3 phones (one is I9300 unlocked version and another one is AT&T LTE version). Both are working smoothly. I am happy with the purchase.

I got this keyboard because I hate typing on screens. But I am not even using the product and using the screen because it's better then using this thing. I am using a Samsung Galaxy s4

It takes a while before opening the keyboard for the phone to know that the keyboard is there. A message can not be sent from the keyboard you need to touch up on the screen to send it. In order to shift or do a period or question mark. You need to hold shift and the letter at the same time. Also when the keyboard is on it covers the flash.

It is only a horrible product because someone that hates using screens finds the screen easier to use.

I was hesitant to order a smartphone because I have a problem using a touch screen. The wireless slide keyboard case is great. Now I can text and respond to texts with no problem at all. When you need to use it, just slide out and you are in business. Works great for people with large fingers and long nails. It does make the phone a little heavy and a bit thicker, but that is not a problem for me. Everyone at the Verizon stores ask me where I got it because they have never seen it and would to recommend it. I definately do.

My hands are shakey. This helps me with texting without having to re do. Would highly recommend. It is a little hard to slide, but with use it gets easier
