Dang! I wanted to give this zero stars but I guess everyone gets at least one for trying. Thank you for playing, come again. As a consolation prize you get a trip straight to Utah. Anyone who loves Megadeth, please, STAY AWAY FROM THIS ALBUM! There is no copying Dave and co. This would be an insult if it weren't a tribute album.

I like Megadeth a lot. I actually came to this site looking for their new album "RISK". I didn't find it but, I came across another album that was a tribute to Megadeth. With my hopes up, I gave it a try and listened to it. The music was okay, nothing that I would recomend to others. I found the vocals to be a disappointment. There is no imitating Dave Mustane or Megadeth!!! If you want to here Megadeth you are just going to half to buy the real thing.

God I love megadeth! And the bands on this CD rule! The music is so tight! Alot of the bands have death metal vocals, which I can do without but the others make the cd well worth the money!

This cd is great! Holy Wars and Hook In Mouth are almost better than Megadeth! Some of the other screaming vocals are not great but these two songs make the cd worth buying!

That they did this to Megadeth is downright saddening. I was in the music store the other day looking for "Killing Is My Business" (a fantastic album, of course!) to complete my Megadeth collection and saw this disc on the shelf. I thought, "Wow, this'll be great! A tribute to Megadeth! And maybe I'll find a few good new metal bands on here." Boy was I wrong.Megadeth is one of the greatest metal bands out there; they do not deserve to be subjected to these awful death-metal vocals. I've got nothing at all against death metal when it's done right, but this is metal gone terribly wrong. You should hear what they did to Hangar 18, one of my personal favorites from Megadeth. The intro sounded great, and I was thinking to myself the whole time, "Please, God, don't let this be another death-metal band..." God, as it turns out, was not listening. One word from the vocalist and the song goes from promising to an utter tragedy... to say nothing of the others, many of which are just as bad in the vocals department, and with lousy instrumentals to boot. Thankfully, a few tracks saved this from being a complete waste of money. Fury's version of Symphony of Destruction is not bad, Mind-Ashes does a very nice rendition of Holy Wars, and Fatal Influence does justice to Hook In Mouth. But all in all, this CD falls far short of being worthy of Megadeth.

Its truly a wonder how this piece of trash got released!,

I'm a huge Megadeth fan but I don't understand why all these horrible Death Metal bands get a shot on the Tribute cd. I mean this cd is the biggest piece of music trash. Even if your are a hard core Megadeth fan stay away from this. Unless you don't mind useless screaming. I'll admit that the music sounds decent but the vocals are completely horrible.Listen...the moment I bought this cd I took my money and threw it in the trash. Don't let it happen to you. Buy the real Megadeth, I suggest Countdown to Extinction.

This cd is an excellent tribute. The only thing i dont get is why so many people dont like the death metal cover songs. Megadeth is a thrash band that inspired these bands, theyre just paying their dues to them, and plus if it sounded exactly like Deth, why make a tribute? There is not one song on there that i dont like, but my favs would have to be "Go To Hell" anf "Peace Sells". Also, deserves notice is Fairlight's awesome cover of "Hanger 18" they mixed in some keyboards and it makes it sound so good. buy this tribute if you love Megadeth and dont mind death metal vocals

Yes, very interesting that the death metal bands made it on this cd! Major kudos to Fatal Influence for an awesome rendition of "Hook..." Great job guys. Holy wars is really done well also. I give it 3 stars because it's megadeth music and 2 extra ones for hook and holy wars.... for a total of 5 stars. This cd is worth the money just for those two songs alone.

This album is a great buy. I just loved it and I also agree with the opinion regarding the she-wolf track, just great. Also loved, peace sells and go to hell. A must have....
