Many versions of this cd, choose the 4 track + video version,
This review is from: Megalomaniac (Audio CD)
There are 2 track cds, 2 cd sets and combined cds out there of this track, however all contain the common songs being Megalomaniac (radio edit) Monuments and melodies Pistola (live) Nowhere Fast (live) some may also have the megalomaniac video which is great and cd 2 of the UK set may have the non radio edit. As far as the songs go, being a radio edit really takes away from the impact of the song. Monuments and melodies is a nice song, a bit too sugary sweet but nice music and singing nonetheless. The 2 live songs even though they were recorded at the same venue and show sound very different. Pistola has high quality written all over it and the song is pretty darn good too. Nowhere fast sounds very mufflled compared to pistola and would rate higher if not for the production. Overall ok but nothing awesome.

Only one song is on this single.,

Usually singles have at least three tracks. The three tracks usually include the original track, a remix and a new song. This only has the song Megalomaniac. I own this single, and the good thing about it is that its actually a good song, and the new Incubus album isnt in stores yet. So if you love this song, this is the only way to go till its released in Febuary. But beware, theres only that one song. Its not very expensive though. I think that their new album will be good. This track rocks and it shows alot of promise for it. My favorite Incubus cd so far is Make Yourself. That is a pretty good cd. And their new one is likely to be good too.

This may only be their single but with addition of Ben on bass Incubus is rockin it out again. The engergy they use in this new song is intense. For those of you who like Incubus you will be extremely happy with this new single and hopefully the album will be just as good as this! If haven't heard Incubus, this will be one tune you won't get out of your head!!!!!

Having been an Incubus fan since about 2000, I've always enjoyed their rock music for it's creativity and strong energy behind it. Brandon always has inspired lyrics that he sings very well. This new single is no exception from that "style" they have. From album to album, they have a slight change in sound but there is always that core about them that hasn't disappeared, even with the new bassist... I have HIGH hopes for the new album!

Being a big Incubus fan, it's great to hear something new from them again (finally) - this song is dope - took a few listens to get used too, but I heard it live and it was rockin'. Can't wait till Feb 3rd when the full CD is released.
