This review is from: Megan's Ghost (Camp Sunnyside Friends) (Paperback)
This is one of my favorites from the Camp Sunnyside series. It takes place around Halloween, after the girls have been home from camp for a couple of months. A new girl, Lori, shows up at Megan's school. It turns out that she and Megan have met before, when Megan beat her in a tennis tournament. Lori is still holding a grudge and sets out to make Megan's life miserable. She creates situations that get Megan in trouble and twists things that Megan says around to make her friends mad at her. When Lori succeeds in driving a wedge between Megan and her friends, Megan's mother suggests that Megan invite her friends from camp to spend Halloween with her. When Lori has a confrontation with Megan and her camp friends, she dares Megan to spend 20 minutes in a neighboring house that is supposed to be haunted. Megan thinks that if she can succeed, she can get back into her old friends' good graces. However, she might find more in the old house than she bargained for.
