Megasoft Bathrobe, Exclusively Soft Supima Cotton, Made in Turkey

Color: We ordered 2 bathrobes, one Espresso and one Chino colored. The Espresso is a very dark brown, and the Chino is a beautiful natural cream color. Of the two colors, we both prefer the Chino color. (The dark brown is slightly more of a cooler toned brown, than a warm brown tone.)

Quality: The robes are very soft, medium thickness and fluffy. The stiching is well done. Nice tag inside stating made in Turkey.

Packaging: Arrived in a plastic zipped bagged, nicely folded.

Size: We are both a normal weight range 5' 6". These are a one-size fits all robe, so, as always, they are bit large, but we both like them that way. The sleeves reach to my knuckles, but the stitching is such that the robes look finished even with the cuffs folded back.

Content: These are looped 100% cotton, just what we wanted. We were searching for 100% cotton bathrobes that we could use in winter to get to/from our hot tub. (Polyester bathrobes don't absorb water and you end up wrapped but cold.)

Company: We ordered these near the holidays and the company included a hand-written holiday card signed by a few of the staff thanking us for ordering. And the robes arrived within 4 days. No arguing with service like that!

This is a heavy/thick robe, I expect it would fit a man 6' tall perfectly. I am 5'8" and the sleeves are only slightly to long but, I don't even notice now. The comfort level is amazing, this is so incredibly soft and warm you will put it on as soon as you get home and take it off when you go to bed. I cant speak on durability as I've only had it for a month or so but, you most likely will not be dissapointed with the feel. I got the brown color and I love it, I feel like grisly adams in this thing...

Received this as Christmas present from my son and it is the most wonderful robe I have every had. It is so light weight, but warm and the softness is just great. Good choice for a bath robe

I received this bathrobe for my birthday last year. (I had placed it on my wishlist.) Warm and absorbent, the robe's soft cotton cuddles a wet, showered body. Its touch is sensuous.

So why only four stars? I washed it. The softness remains, but its out-of-the-box appearance is diminished through (minor) pilling. Heavier, more absorbent robes can be bought for not much more money, but those are not this soft.

I agree with everyone above that this robe comes nicely packaged, it arrived very quickly, and it is very warm. However, I expected it to be soft, and although it's not rough, it's certainly not even close to what I expected based upon the description. It's a present for my hubby this Christmas, and I'm really disappointed that I didn't buy something like this in person (live and learn!!) In case I thought I was expecting too much, I washed/dried it (hoping the fluffing up would help), and then asked my two teenagers what they thought of the robe...yep, same response as I had...it's pretty, but it's not very soft. Oh well, at least he'll be warm for the winter. Good quality, good service, but be aware, I would definitely NOT consider this to be a MEGASOFT ROBE.

I was a little too optimistic with that "one size fits most" - only to find out I was not among the most. I'm 5'3" and this thing is just too big for me.

First thing I did was to wash it, to test both shrinkage and shedding. It shed quite a bit before washing - every time I tapped or flopped it. After one washing, the shedding was reduced, but was still uncomfortable. I'd occasionally find little puffs stuck to my skin after using the robe. Haven't washed it a second time yet. As about shrinkage... well, the thing is so big that I honestly can't tell if there's a difference.

One thing which I bet will be great in winter, but right now (summer) makes the robe almost unusable, is that it will keep/make you very, very, very warm. It's heavy and poofy, and very soft, and I'm looking forward to winter. Right now though, even with the AC on, it's making me sweat and want to rip it off.

The final negative impression I have of this robe is that it doesn't seem very absorbent. With that thickness and advertising, I had set my hopes high, but my standard towel absorbs way more. With this robe, I feel like I have to wear it around the house for a while, rubbing, until it dries me up.

Now, don't get me wrong, it's not all bad. It's a great robe. Good material, seemingly sturdy seams that survived the first washing, very soft and thick. On a taller person, it would even look good. I just had to give you all a couple of warnings of the things to watch out for :-)

I bought this for my husband and am so impressed. Nice and thick, and incredibly soft and huggable. I have not seen anything nicer when looking in department stores. The attention to detail that went into the packaging was also a complete and welcome surprise. Sturdy shipping box, and the inside was packaged nicely enough to present as a gift with no wrapping really required. There was even a hand-written thank you note included. I am more than satisfied.

I'm about 5'10" and 210lbs. This fits well and it is heavy, warm and comfortable. I enjoy the solid feel of it. I washed it once and it handled that well... Careful! Wearing this may put you to sleep on the recliner.

Was looking for a substantial robe that was not white. I drink coffee in the morning so I ordered it in "Espresso". Had never dealt with them before and the robe seemed a bit expensive but Im not averse to spending a little more for quality. Be advised this robe is heavy and very warm, I'd almost say too warm if thats possible.

This robe is excellent and the service was above and beyond. Exactly as advertised, arrived gift wrapped without being asked or charged more. Good gift, good product good service.

The megasoft bathrobe is pretty soft and thick relative to other bathrobes. It has a nice feel to it. The bathrobe is made of Japanese yarn and the yarn is made of cotton so the bathrobe is made of 100% cotton. Cotton of course strinks in the wash but the strinkage is tolerable. I purchased the expresso color and after a few washes the color faded but that is to expected. Overall I am satisfied with this purchase and would purchase it over again if I had the choice to do so.
