My two boys, ages 6 and 7, received this as a gift. Whereas it initially looked like a fun gift, once we opened the box, we discovered that the planes are made of cheap styrofoam. The charger has to be inserted into the plane for it to work. On the first flight, everything was fine. However, when I picked up the plane to help my son recharge it, the wing broke. I fixed that up only to have my husband displace the charging unit inside the plane on the next attempt. So, now that plane is simply a glorified paper airplane. The other plane is not fairing much better. If it runs into anything, even landing on the ground, the structure of the plane is compromised.

If two adults, one an engineer, have trouble handling this flimsy plane, I know kids will be disappointed at how quickly it breaks.
