Taking off is the toughest part of piloting these aircrafts. The helicopter, in particular, requires a delicate touch while getting it airborne. A little too much throttle will make it spin out of control. However, once in the air, the vehicles prove to be quite maneuverable. With enough altitude and a little practice, it's possible to perform barrel rolls and other stunts with the airplane.
The remote control has been designed with convenience in mind. It contains a cable that is able to charge the vehicles without an A/C socket, meaning that you can "charge on the go." The aircraft are outfitted with light-weight Lithium Polymer batteries, which can provide impressive run times in spite of their small size.
Sturdy Construction Withstands Tough Riding
Although the plane's EPP-foam chassis might not look like much, it is designed to take abuse. The helicopter is equally sturdy, and can withstand repeated collisions without damage or distortion to its rotors. This allows inexperienced RC fliers to fly their aircraft without having to worry about crashing, making this an ideal toy for "pilots"" in training. The helicopter also has a high-intensity LED searchlight and flashing navigational lights, making it possible to fly at night.
The aircraft design does have a few flaws. For instance, it's a bit too easy for the plane's rudder to become crooked, which causes it consistently turn in one direction. The helicopter also occasionally has issues, as its rotors are prone to jamming. Fortunately, MegaTech has included an extensive troubleshooting guide with the package, which address most of the problems you may experience.

The helicoptor had about ten flights. The rear tail stabilizing rotor is VERY FRAGILE. It came with only one replacement. After about an hour of flying and bumpy landings (no major crashes) both of the tail rotors were broken and the helicoptor was grounded. My son was extremely disappointed! I don't see any way to order replacement parts.

I didn't have very high hopes for such an inexpensive remote control flyer, so I can't say I'm too disappointed. However, even for the low price, I would not recommend this. The throttle worked fine on the airplane but turning it in the air was impossible. The flap on the back of the plane took more than a second to receive the signal from the remote control. Almost every time it went up the plane would crash by the time it tried to turn.
All the parts were obviously very cheap to make. I'd recommend paying extra to get something better made.

We bought this for our son for Christmas and he was SO excited to play with it. The original helicopter stopped running when the lower propeller stopped rotating in conjunction with the top. It would only spin in circles on the floor. Our replacement from Amazon got here lightning fast, but after only a few light falls (throttle difficult to get used to), the rear propeller broke. My husband glued the one side back on and it ran great for about 2 min. until the main motor (not the rear propeller motor) burnt up. It was honestly smoking. We never even got the chance to try the airplane (too cold outside), but I'm returning the whole box for a refund. I wouldn't recommend this set at all.
