The helicoptor had about ten flights. The rear tail stabilizing rotor is VERY FRAGILE. It came with only one replacement. After about an hour of flying and bumpy landings (no major crashes) both of the tail rotors were broken and the helicoptor was grounded. My son was extremely disappointed! I don't see any way to order replacement parts.

I didn't have very high hopes for such an inexpensive remote control flyer, so I can't say I'm too disappointed. However, even for the low price, I would not recommend this. The throttle worked fine on the airplane but turning it in the air was impossible. The flap on the back of the plane took more than a second to receive the signal from the remote control. Almost every time it went up the plane would crash by the time it tried to turn.

All the parts were obviously very cheap to make. I'd recommend paying extra to get something better made.

We bought this for our son for Christmas and he was SO excited to play with it. The original helicopter stopped running when the lower propeller stopped rotating in conjunction with the top. It would only spin in circles on the floor. Our replacement from Amazon got here lightning fast, but after only a few light falls (throttle difficult to get used to), the rear propeller broke. My husband glued the one side back on and it ran great for about 2 min. until the main motor (not the rear propeller motor) burnt up. It was honestly smoking. We never even got the chance to try the airplane (too cold outside), but I'm returning the whole box for a refund. I wouldn't recommend this set at all.

Received one of these as a gift and my son just loves it. Would not put it down, so perfect for a time out! We love it so much, that we bought 3 more to give away as B-day presents!! Grat gift. Great value!

I got this as a last-minute gift for my adult male children who are boys at heart! It reminded me of Christmases when they were little!! They played with it all afternoon! I liked it because it was quiet, and they liked it because it was more accurate than others they had gotten years ago! I wouldn't recommend this for a younger child because it is not made to be handled a lot. I think it would be great for an adult to fly the toy for the child, as it is fun to watch-not to mention that the adult will have fun flying it! I would definitely recommend this to an older child! Or even an adult "child"!!

We received this item as a gift. Well we had no problem with the plane, love it and it can take a beating. Wish the real ones did. The Heli was great for about 10 flights then my son hit the tree and broke the top rotor balance thing. I emailed the company, and they mailed me a new one. Great Product! Great Service!

THe materials on this product are not very good. It broke after 3 flights. The stabilizer bar is not durable, and there is no way to get replacement parts for this helicopter. Don't buy it.
Megatech says to e-mail them. I did 4 days ago and haven't heard from them yet. $50 is too much to have this kind of problem. Go buy a good one.

The item was broken at the first trial. They do not fly any more. They are not durable. Avoid them! I will never buy again.

This toy - specifically the helicopter provided hours of fun for my grandson. He got this for his 9th birthday and couldn't get him to put it down. He played with it for hours. It took him about an hour before he was comfortable flying and controlling it's flight. I suggest not flying it outside in any type of wind. The planes are way too light and the slighest breeze will create flight problems. This is great for a beginner who wants to learn about radio control flying and helicopters but do it indoors - perhaps in an empty garage. Above all, be patient. Learn to lift it vertically and hover off the ground, maybe a few inches. Than slowly control it's turn with the rotor. Once comfortable, you can fly it higher. My grandson had it hovering about 25 feet off the ground, in a two-story house. After awhile, he let the family play with it. No easy task to fly a helicopter the first time but loads of fun for the family. We crashed it many times. It took a beating and a few minor parts broke but not enough to ground it.

He'll try the airplane next and I guarantee it won't be as fun and challenging to fly as the helicopter. No disappintment here. My grandson got days of fun out of this toy.
