I saw this tonight at TJ Maxx for $12.99. I agree with the previous review, sounds didn't seem to make sense. Kids can cough themselves. I liked the heartbeat sound, as w/ many doctor kits you don't get this, but the person above wrote that the stethoscope couldn't go on the kids' ears anyway. I definitely wouldn't spend more than 12.99 for this toy. It is a plastic toy, I thought should have been about 10 dollars. The package has wholes in the front to hear the sounds, but you can tell it is not an expensive toy just from holding the package and looking at it. For 12.99 your kids would definitely get enough play value to make the purchase worth while.

Both, my four and two year old loved this toy. However there are a few things that need to be changed. The head mirror didn't fit any of my babies, nephews and/or nieces. The material it is made of doesn't allow for adjustments. The stethoscope lacks space so they can actually wear this on their ears. And the bottom portion of this is so heavy it keeps falling off. Also, even though the heart beating and coughing noises are cute, there is no logic to it. Sometimes my daughter would be like, "let me check your heart" she would press on it, and the coughing sound would play. Then she will be like, "let me check your lungs" and the heart beating sound would play. We tried this many, and I mean many times, but there seems to be no logic and/or consistency between the sounds. You would think that if the last time you pressed on the yellow button was a coughing noise, the next would be a hear beating sound, but wasn't like this most of the time.
