4.0 out of 5 stars Magnetic Alphabet toy
I got this for my daughter to help her learn the alphabet. It seems pretty well made although it is a little hard to write with chalk o the board. I was disappointed to find out that a few of the letters were missing so I don't have the entire alphabet. I do have a few extra letters but they are totally random. It would be nice to have a few extra of the very common...

1.0 out of 5 stars Not built like it used to be
How dissapointing! The overall quality of this product is cheap, cheap, cheap! Compared to the same model purchased a few years ago, this is junk.

The first one purchased had a frame around the chalk board which kept it sturdy when a child wrote on it, had a dry erase board on the reverse side, and had two clips to hold the board into place when not in use...

How dissapointing! The overall quality of this product is cheap, cheap, cheap! Compared to the same model purchased a few years ago, this is junk.

The first one purchased had a frame around the chalk board which kept it sturdy when a child wrote on it, had a dry erase board on the reverse side, and had two clips to hold the board into place when not in use.

This board doesn't have a frame,it is flimsy and bows inward when the child attempts to write on it, chalk does not adhere to the board, the board slides out of the runners that are suppose to keep it stable, had only one clip to hold board into place and it pops open at the slightest impact such as setting down, and no dry erase board on reverse side. I could go on; truly not worth the price.

As a pediatric/school therapist, I am well aware that the products from this company at one time were top quality. I will not purchase a Megcos product again without actually seeing them.

My 2 1/2 year old son is really engaged with this and asks me how to spell things constantly. I didn't realize that it had a chalkboard also and my son loves that aspect as well.
