I have to agree with the 2nd reviewer. If you follow the 'very simple' directions this stuff delivers everything it says and more!! Of course the more prepping you do the more brilliant end result you'll get.
(ie.) 1.(if necessary) Clay your car, *(If you do that you can skip the "paint cleaner" step) 2. Polish it. 3 Wax it! ((*IN THE SHADE, as it says. When the surface of your car is cool, clean, and dry. **ESPECIALLY if you live in FL** Ideally with moderate temperatures (roughly between 55 and 85 Degrees with average to less than average (approx.<65%) humidity. If the temperature is too high the wax won't adhere evenly to the vehicle and much will evaporate, and it 'sure will come off easy.' Too cold and it is hard to get off and definitely to buff into a deep wet-shine. Super high humidity or just moderate to high humidity with cool temperatures and it sits on your vehicle like a thin lubricant and just keeps sliding around like you put a thin layer of vasoline on your car.

These tips may be obvious to many, but hopefully helpful to some and important if you're relatively new at this, or if you live in Florida:)

Get it, follow the directions, prep. the paint on your car accordngly, and disappointed you will NOT be. Amazed and in awe you probably WILL BE!

I love taking care of my vehicles. I have used many expensive, imported products over the years. However, Meguiar's keeps winning me back with their incredible offerings. They are of high quality, effective, easy to find, and affordable. However, take the affordable off. I'd use their products, if they were 3x the price because I've used products that cost that much and are less effective.

Meguiar's Gold Class Liquid Wax is another example of that experience. Meguiar's effectively markets this wax and who doesn't love using something called Gold Class that comes in beautiful packaging? However, it is not smoke and mirrors. Inside the bottle is a very good wax that will greatly enhance your paint's finish, while providing all-important protection.

For optimum results I strongly encourage you before you apply Gold Class, to clay your car, clean with a paint cleaner (i.e. Deep Crystal Step 1), polish with a pure polish (Deep Crystal Step 2 or #7 Show Car Polish), and then apply this wax. The results are truly remarkable. Again, I have used many waxes to top off my detailing, and Gold Class is one I keep going back to. It's one of my favorites and one of the best.

To maintain your shine, remove loose dirt and contaminants with Quick Detailer, or Ultimate Quick Detailer.

Meguiar's keeps delivering the good stuff, and I'm a fan.

The main reason why I give this product only 2 stars is because of two major downfalls: paint residue and durability.

First of all this product will leave a white residue everywhere! This mostly ends up on trim, rubber and any cracks/crevices the wax gets into and is almost impossible to remove completely! A real headache and should be avoided.

Secondly, this product is just a basic wax. So it won't last in any harsh weather condition, especially hot sun or snow, and must be reapplied on a constant basis and layered to keep your paint protected.

Nowadays there are many much better products out there that can give a much better and lasting protection for your vehicle. For about the same cost you can get Meguiar's NXT Generation Tech Wax 2.0 (18-Ounce Liquid) which does not leave a residue and lasts longer. I recommend getting the kit - Meguiar's NXT Wash & Wax Kit. That way you get the detailer (a MUST for maintaining a lasting shine) along with the wash fluid, tire shine, and applicators.
