This cleaner works well. It is not magic and simply applying it and rinsing off doesn't really do the trick. Although, I guess if you were crazy and did that daily it would work, but who does that?

Personally, I try to wash my car weekly. Some weeks it doesn't happen, but mostly it does. I've found that this spray is easy to apply after having just washed the car and then I use a brush on the wheels before rinsing it all off. The spray goes on easy as a nice foam and all four tires of my mustang seem to take just a little fluid out of the bottle implying a large number of wheel washings per bottle. I have only used it three times so far and the fluid level is nearly at the "looks like it just came from the store" level.

As with cleaning anything, keeping a regular routine just makes the cleaning easier and faster. If your wheels are really dirty and you don't clean them frequently then expect to apply this cleaner more than once and to use a little more elbow grease. But, if you're a frequent-cleaner-type person you will find that regular maintenance is a breeze and just a little brushing loosens all of that road crud in no time.

Contrary to another reviewer's complaint it definitely is better than "soap and a sponge." I know this because I washed two wheels on my car with the regular car wash soap I use, and two with this stuff. The results: my wife easily identified which was which.

One thing of note, which did not impact my star rating. I ordered this product directly from Amazon and it arrived in a plastic bag in a box. This is a good thing as the pump had a teeny leak and the bag prevented the fluid from getting on anything else in the shipment. I can't fault the product for being a liquid and being tossed by UPS (the box was ragged when it arrived) but I can compliment Amazon for their packing methods.

This Stuff really works when you use it right. Something that should be mentioned is that you may(and more likely than not)need to "agitate with a brush." It also cleans your tires a lot better than I expected.

This is one of my favorite wheel cleaners. It cuts the brake dust and dirt with ease without damaging your wheels. Works well on any finish like including alloy, chrome and even black wheels. All wheel cleaners are not created equal. This cleaner will clean very gentle so no damage occurs.

I just now used this product on a set of rims that had not been seriously cleaned in YEARS and that I had given up as a lost cause. But, as with many things, following the directions really worked. Wet the wheels, apply the product, let sit for 15 seconds, agitate with a (soft) brush, rinse (and repeat). Do one wheel at a time. In about fifteen minutes I ended up with a set of rims that, if they don't look new (they're eight years old), they do look good. As soon as I finish this review I'll be ordering several bottles.

I used this product for the very first time this weekend (March 1, 08) and was VERY impressed with the results. I followed the bottle's directions, and I DID use a soft bristle brush to agitate the cleaner. The Hot Rims Wheel Cleaner dissolved ALL of the brake dust and road grime on my car's alloy wheels with EASE. Other products have left spots here and there, but this made short work of cleaning my wheels and left them with a sparkling shine. Try this product, you WILL like it.

The 4 piston Brembo brakes and sport pads on my car generate an insane amount of brake dust that coats my aluminum BBS wheels within a good day of driving. Luckily there's this! I've used black magic and eagle one in the past, and neither worked nearly as quick (and easily) as Meguiars!

I can hit my wheel with the regular soap/pressure washer that I use on the rest of my car, and it does virtually nothing. I spray this on the wheel, wait about 30seconds, and then pressure wash it again. Takes virtually 90% of the built on dust and gunk off instantly. With a second pass, the rims are looking brand new again. I almost never have the need to touch the wheels with an actual mitt when using this.

A must have for anyone with brake dust issues, nice rims, or just likes to wash your car. A clean set of wheels really make the rest of the car stand out.

I am sure this is a good product for its intended use. Product Features says "Safe for All Wheels". Be sure to watch the video - this cleaner is for all FACTORY COATED wheels. The video shows the cleaner they make for un-coated polished aluminum wheels.

This wheel cleaner worked well on my old painted wheels, and works great on my new chrome wheels too. I wouldn't say it is as easy "spray on, rinse off", hence my 4 stars. On my chrome wheels, I spray it on, use a microfiber towel to scrub and dry the wheel. That leaves a little sheen on the wheel similar to a wax or polish. I then use another microfiber towel to buff it out. After that the wheels look showroom clean!

I needed to get some brake dust off and decided to try Meguiar's All Wheel Cleaner. It worked, doing exactly what I needed to be done. And whatever it did not get, I just took a wheel brush and was able to get it all off with minimal effort. Great product.

I have an older Lexus ES350, and it had developed a dirty film on the inside of the rims. I tried scrubbing it off, and using a powersprayer to no avail. Folks were in agreement it was permenantly stained. Meguiar's though.. was simply amazing. Sprayed the rims with water.. soaked them with Meguiar's, used a brust to agitate it after 15 seconds, and a t-shirt to polish. My rims look like the car just rolled off the line. Highly recommend.
