I use mainly all Meguiar's products for the care of my family's two vehicles. This product works as advertised, which is to say that it restores the plastic, rubber and vinyl trim to black. But water causes this product to run like a woman's mascara and it leaves ugly streaks on my black 07 F-150. I know that having a black vehicle amplifies all imperfections, so it may not show on other vehicle colors. But its too much for me to ignore. It also can leave a greasy look if you dont wipe it again with a dry cloth. Its still greasy-feeling when you touch it, though. I am going to try Adam's SuperVRT.

This is one of a few products that I can't do without, Meguiar's Endurance tire gel being another. It seems like all cars have some measure of black plastic trim, and the weather is not kind to these pieces. My car has more than its fair share of black plastic trim, and a little of this trim detailer gets it looking new in no time. I've used Mother's version of this, and it's not as effective. I should mention that this product does give trim a slight shiny/wet look, which some people don't like. Well, this stuff has really exceeded my expectations, so do yourself a favor and pick some up.

I used this product on the black exterior trim on my 2008 Mini Cooper. There was a fair amount of dried wax on this trim. The Trim Detailer restored the trim to "as new" condition. The product was shipped promptly and the entire transaction was first rate.
