Meguiar's Dual Action Polisher greatly reduces the amount of time it takes to apply paint cleaners, polishes and protection products and produces results far superior to applying these products by hand. And because of its dual action - rotation and orbit, you never have to worry about burning the paint. "Dual Action" simply means that in addition to the pad "spinning" like most polishers do, it also rotates on it's axis at the same time -- making it much harder to burn/damage your vehicle's surface. As an additional safeguard, the Meguiar's G110 Dual Action Polisher is constructed with "soft touch" material to avoid scratching your paint. Another convenience feature is the G110's 10 foot long cord, ideal for those smaller garages and less reliance on extension cords. If you need bragging rights for your fellow enthusiasts, the G110 has a 4.2 amp heavy load aluminum gear motor with 6 rotations speeds: 2560 RPMS up to 6700 RPM. The adjustment speed dial is color coded green, yellow, and red. Most jobs should be used on the "green" setting, but as you start to use various cleaners and waxes, you'll have more confidence with the G110's capabilities.

I purchased this unit to resolve swirls and other imperfections on my classic Chevy car. This unit is easy to use and did a good job on most of the imperfections that I attempted, and certainly resulted in the best finish my car has had since it was repainted in 1979. However, being that it's not a professional rotary unit, I was unable to remove the deepest of scratches and swirls. In understand that a professional unit requires skill in order to prevent damage to the paint while using it, so it's just as well that I purchased this unit instead of a pro model. In any case, the entire process was far faster and better with this polisher so it certainly was worth the money. I gave this rating 4 stars instead of 5 stars becuase the handle and backing plate need to be disassembled for it to be placed back into its plastic carrying case, which is an inconvenience.

A camping trip left both sides of truck BADLY pinstriped. Some were pretty deep. I didnt have high expectations of this little machine but i figured i can get the most of it out and have a pro finish the job (in the past i've paid $$$ to have moderate pinstrips removed).
Used it with Meguiar's 105 and 205 and the recommended pads and it did the job, but it did take a few applications. Pinstripes removed and trucks shine restored. If you look closely, you can still see the deep ones but you have to be an inch from the truck to notice.
This machine is light-weight so you can use for extended periods (it took 6 hours from initial wash to final wax). the noise level is low and the vibration isn't bad if you take breaks between sections (think massager).
This polisher is a must have for any off-roader/camper/wax enthusiast and is well worth it. It doesn't come with pads, some assembly required and you will need an extension cord.
I'm not a pro, NOT AT ALL. I'm just a girl who likes to get her truck dirty. Next time i'm getting striped, it wont hurt as much...Plus i can throw a post-roading clean up party!

Worked well until last week. Power cord either has a short and/or loose wire. Sending back to Meguair's to repair or replace. Clients have been very happy with the results and I couldn't have done it without this buffer.
