4.0 out of 5 stars Great Eighties French Pop, December 2, 1999
This review is from: Le Meilleur - Best of (Audio CD)
This CD is a great example of French Eighties Pop, as in, sugar-bubble-gummy and very sweet. After the first five songs, you begin to think that people in France are high all the time. The CD is very good, however, and it has a certain je ne sais pas quoi. Overall, it's very good.

4.0 out of 5 stars very cheesy French pop, June 29, 2000

This review is from: Le Meilleur - Best of (Audio CD)
The only song I knew from this album when I bought it is Amoureux Solitaires, and that song is enough to buy it (or maybe only for me because of its sentimental value - it was the only (big) hit she had in the Netherlands). Lots of synthesizer sounds that are so typical of early 80's music (e.g. Yazoo, Human league) melted into very easy melodies. Fast-food in music: no quality music, but sometimes that is just so nice to listen to.
