This took a while to ship, but once it arrived I quickly noticed the fine quality of the drum as promised. However ( I'm sure measurements are on the ad), it is SO tiny. My 2 yr old fits it between his legs easily, but really needs something bigger. It stores easily in his small book shelf.

I read the reviews about the size of this one and YES, it is very small. I'm not a percussionist, but I have a blast taking a break from the piano (percussion instrument, I know) and beating on this drum! I have a big one at the shows as well, which has better volume / sound, but it's just a blast to hold this thing and bang on this drum all day.

I bought this drum for my granddaughter for Christmas and she loves it. She has become very interested in listening to music and making music, so, I thought this would be a terrific gift for her. She carried it around all day Christmas, playing it and hugging it. Perfect size for a 4 year of child.

Good size for a toddler. It has been a well-loved toy, meaning it has gotten A LOT of use, and it is still in great condtion, so I can attest that it is sturdy quality. Good value.

This drum is so small....super disappointing. We were expecting something for my 2 year old to be able to play. The drum is more of a novelty item...something to put on a shelf...sending it back. Go for a real drum....that way your child can grow with it.
