This is a great CD considering it old. I think it was recorded back in the 50's. If you like Sones de Jalisco by the same group, then you should check this one out too.

This is another master recording of the great sound of the Mariachi Vargas de Tecalitlan in their Golden Era. A lot of Mariachi Groups have tried to recreate the sound, It's impossible to hear them play and not feel anything.

I like mariachi music, and this is by far not the best I have listened to.
The recordings seem to be ancient and the orchestra is very mediocre. There is better Mariachi music out there, don't waste your money! |
