I frequently play non traditional music, and with players of various instruments. Eventually I realized I needed a wider knowledge of chords to jump in to jams whre I wasn't familiar. This book with its extensive selection of tunings and chords is an absolute must for players like me. With it you can really help out your improvisational playing and begin to make more complex arrangements.
