Although many of theses pieces were written for keyboard they are wonderful to play on the violin. They are in first position without too many accidentals so they are well within the scope of a beginning violinist. The piano part which comes along is a nice way to work on intonation,counting, and ensemble. I am anxious to try the Handel, Beethoven, Mozart, and Brahms volumes in this series.
