I found this to be an excellent book for the beginner or
for someone like myself who had not picked up a horn for twenty five years. Like any of the other Mel Bay instructional booklets(I have several) it gives you all you need and more.

This metod book is one of the finest I have found to help beginning trumpet students. Each lesson is two pages: The first page introduces one new thing (a new note or rhythm, etc.) and the second page has some songs to play using that new material. A well planned approach that doesn't rush trough the early fundimentals.
I've used it for years and will continue to do so. |
