A must if you are serious about learning or improving on the bass,

If you are serious about learning or improving your bass skills along with your ability to sight read music, this book is a must. Three things you will need in addition: a good teacher (no matter your level), metronome, some way to record yourself. My only caution is that you need to be patient and decide to work at a pace that is comfortable, but recommend making the decision to work through the whole book. You will NOT be sorry you did. At times you will feel frustrated about tackling certain exercises, don't get discouraged. All of the exercises are based on sound principles of not just reading bass music but essential bass skills. Of course, making sure you are getting it is where a good teacher comes in.
