Chord symbols and voicings as well as modal and blues scales are also addressed. The last half of the book includes a generous "fakebook" and a "songbook" consisting of several of the author's progressively arranged compositions.

Uri Ayn Rovner, singer, trombonist and pianist, runs a music school in Aurora, Colorado. His enthusiasm for exploring a variety of styles in teaching piano has resulted in classical, blues, and jazz publications. He dreams of creating a whole new style of music.
