Pretty un-realistic...., August 10, 1999

This review is from: Melanie's Identity Crisis (Fabulous Five, Book 15) (Paperback)
Okay, in this book, the 7th grade is supposed to be doing a study on their families and stuff. Well, when Melanie starts, she finds letters her mom wrote to her grandma when Melanie was born, that said Mel was sort of a mistake and that they hadn't wanted a child so soon! Melanie doesn't read the rest of the letter though, and is positive her parents don't really love her, and that she ruined the chance of a great career for her mom. Meanwhile, Mel is also worked up because the boys she likes are ignoring her and she is worried they don't like her for some reason. I think that part is soo stupid. Why in the world would someone get so worked up about some boys not paying attention to you? This book is not really a 'must-read' in this series.
