2.0 out of 5 stars Unnecessarily scientific terminology, May 1, 2010
By
This review is from: The Melatonin and Aging Sourcebook (Hardcover)
This is a dauntingly scientific book, which doesn't make for easy reading. The scientific terms positively detract from comprehension. A large part of the book consists of references and abstracts.

However, the authors have an important message - that Melatonin is an invaluable supplement to consider taking, having been shown to be effective in reversing the aging process, regulating sleep disorders and protecting against cancer and other serious diseases. It plays a major role in combating free radicals.

I wouldn¨t really recommend this book, there being more readable books available on the subject, for example, "The Melatonin Miracle" by Regelsen and Pierpaoli.
