the beats are actually HOT! i mean hot!! canibus delivers his hungriest project in a while. for whom the beat tols was good lyrically and was a step up production wise but still fell short overall in general because of the lackluster beats on many of the songs. on this one he delivers 360 degrees! every beat is dope and canibus is on his A game and he has quite a few guest appearances but you know what, all of them deliver incredible verses! i will be bangin this for a while. its a shame he isnt signed to a major label to get more exposure but you know what that might not be a good thing because this cd might have been Wack if that was the case. THANK YOU CANIBUS FOR DELIVERING THIS HIP HOP CD! GO BUY IT PEOPLE AND SUPPORT REAL HIP HOP RIGHT NOW BEFORE IT PERISHES!

I'm a very huge Canibus fan and I really enjoy this album each time I listen to it. I'll just list the things I like about this album - firstly, I can play the album without having to skip tracks. Secondly, the songs are very dope lyrically and it seems like Canibus had a lot on his mind. This album addresses the current state of Hip-hop - the corruption, the media, the minds of people today, US government, Illuminati, Canibus' experiences/role in the music industry and several other creative subjects that only intelligent people will appreciate. I like the beats on most of the songs but I'm just not too impressed with the features. Canibus rhymed better than the most of the guests even though they all rhymed very well. Bought this album last month and I'm still happy I did so if you'll like to support real hip-hop, buy this.

Canibus Does It Again,

This album is a treat. Canibus delivers a great work with the assistance of Professor Griff from Public Enemy and many underground artists. He takes a few swings at the mainstream industry, revealing his own perspective on how rappers are exploited. As always, there are many scientific, metaphysical, and political references made that make you want to research or crack open a book. It's great to have an Emcee around that really reflects the intellectual aspects usually overlooked in Hip Hop culture. Check it out.

I picked this up on a whim at Best Buy, and I was surprised that Canibus still hasn't lost a step. Dragon Of Judah blew my mind, check it out.

I have been listenin to canibus since he first put out "Second Round K.O", he has always been a hardcore battle rapper. His insatiable hunger for reigning mic king has always been prominent in his music. When he is collaborating with another artist on a song he always tries to spit harder than the next man, and that's what makes Canibus a hungry and lyrical emcee. On this album he returns with that similar style he had on "2000 B.C." and "Rip the Jacker". The production on this album is pretty good I think a bit better than his previous albums, with the exception of "Rip the Jacker" which was classic. He continues that lyrical onslaught on this album like always, and has some decent guests on here as well. Most notable DZK and Warbux which I think came out hard on "Post Traumatic Warlab Stress". The diss track to Eminem, "Air Strike (Pop Killer)" shows more of his anger and jealousy getting the best of him, but it is a hard track, and shows why noone can battle against the best. This is a great album, just didn't think he needed those other artists on some of the songs.

This was my first real introduction to Canibus. I heard his stuff on youtube and I've wanted his CDs for years, so I finally got this. Man, this is the most bitter m.f.er I've heard for real. Almost every song (all amazing and intelligent) is a diss. And the songs that aren't disses have disses subtly squeezed in. Normally, I'd mind this kind of thing, but Canibus pulls it off so easily and precisely. I can't think of an emcee with better lyrical subject matter. Every song is a wide journey that takes you places archaic, science-fictional, philosophical, spiritual, or brutal. And he keeps on hating amidst all of it.
I only found one problem and that's his delivery. I think his harsh voice sounds cool, but his delivery is incredibly blunt. His flow is really choppy, like he's talking to a metronome. Anyways, his voice is cool, and his lyrics are mind-blowing, so it's forgivable. Last thing. Amidst all the hating, when you get down to it, Canibus has optimistic view points. That's probably a contradiction, but just listen and see. delivery: [6/10] lyrics: [10/10] flow: [7/10] production: [9/10]

I don't think we will ever get another "Rip the Jacker," but as long as 'Bis puts out new music, I'm not going to complain. I found this to be about on par with "2000 BC" as far as against all his other albums. If you are not a big Canibus fan, then you'd probably rate this 2.5 stars. If you are a big Canibus fan, then this is a must buy for your collection. You can tell he is experimenting with a different type of flow in this one.
I was a little turned off by the D12/Eminem diss track on here, it's kind of like "enough already," but more like "If you are going to go back to that mindset, then give us some Mic Club or Rip the Jacker type albums." Don't let this review discourage you though, there are a few tracks on here that really make the album worthwhile. The joint with his old protege Journalist knocks pretty hard, but the title track is bonkers. "Dead By Design" is golden. My personal favorite "The Dragon of Judah." That track is just vintage Canibus right there.

Canibus returns after an almost 3 year break, to bring you his 9th solo album (and he also has a group album with Phoenix Orion). This is one of his best albums he has put out, and is a definite 4.5 star album. As always, he has some great lyrics, and like only on a few of his other albums, the production is great as well to match his lyrics and make it a great album. Of the 15 songs on here, 1 is a classic, 3 are almost classics, 2 are ok, the other 9a re good, with a few being real good songs. Guests are on 8 of the 15 songs, which is high for one of his albums. Production is very good, and one of the best produced albums he has put out. X, Sicknature, & Engineer each do 3 songs, Blastah Beats does 2, Legendary Charlie G, Beat Butcha, Thoro Tracks, and Krohme each do 1. A must have album for his fans and one of his best works to date.

great lyrics coupled with stellar delivery, awesome beats coupled with outstanding production and you have a distinct gem like this one....i'm not gonna go on and on about the good tracks versus bad, just know this: this album is worth the money for any true die hard hip hop junkie...try this and you'll hear the stuff the radio doesn't play, you won't hear anything on this album about "28 inch rims" or "iced out chains"...just pure fire from front to back...i love the eminem diss track. canibus and d12 take shots at eminem's integrity. canibus the most underated rapper in the game by far
