Box is lovely (inside and out)accented with pastel colors. The glitter on top is the right amount of sparkle to add a special finishing touch. Perfect size for the Little Miss with a budding jewelry collection. It is laid out so she isn't over taken by multiple compartments. The ballerina springs to life when the upper lid is opened. The music is clear (not muffled); music turn screw is located on the back so easy to access. I looked at several boxes before deciding on this for my 2.5yo granddaughter. My goal was to select something that would be specific for jewelry, not too big so it wouldn't turn into a "junk" box. She places all her Swarvoski crystal bracelets in the lower drawer and uses the upper for pendants and hair accessories. A sweet, elegant gift and constructed well enough for the young Miss of today.
