I bought this for ours son's 3rd birthday and I am so excited for him to see it! He wanted a blue semi truck and I love the wooden construction and removable logs on this! It is larger than I thought it was going to be and I can just imagine him hauling hot wheels around with this. Great toy and great price! I have not yet been disappointed with Melissa and Doug products.

I am in love with the new line of trucks that have been produced by Melissa and Doug. The log carrier has quickly become a favorite in my house. However, let me start by saying that I think it is good for slightly older kids (mine are ages 4 and 8 that play with it). My youngest child is 2 and it is a challenge for him to load and secure the logs.

The truck is bright and attractive. It has produced many, many opportunities for creative play. The logs are secured by a plastic strap. The strap works just fine, I think however it can be a challenge for younger children to load the logs and secure the strap without dumping out the whole load out the back of the truck.

Great product and lots of fun!

My kids like things that load and unload and move, so this was a hit. Also, later on my five year old thought to make the logs into a raft (with rubber bands) when he got a pirate set...very creative use of the toy and worked after I helped him with it.

I love that its made of wood and very sturdy. It's a great toy and I will probably buy it again for gifts.

My son loves that he can hook and unhook the trailer. he enjoys "loading" the logs on the truck as well. It's a nice size, and very good quality. In fact, he uses the logs to pound on his Melissa & Doug Deluxe Pound and Roll Tower, and the paint isn't even chipped.
