All M&D products have been great. This is potentially a great one too but our ink pad came in very dry. I suppose we will try adding water to it but there are no instructions that came along with it. I hope it will be alright to do that. I wish M&D made refillable ink for the pads. The stamps, by the way, are very tiny too, which makes the dry ink pads even more unappealing.

The stamps are a little smaller than I thought they would be, and as others stated, no cover. Overall however, I like this companys products.

We love M&D stamp sets. We have an inkpad from over 3yrs ago that still has yet to dry out and stamps are clear.

I bought these stamps for my artistic 2-year old little girl. She LOVES them. They are durable, easy to use, and the graphics are great! They were inexpensive and great quality. The ones you buy in specialty shops are so pricey and these are every bit as good! I think they are a great toy and would strongly recommend anything in the Melissa and Doug line for kids. We also have a couple other stamp sets by Melissa and Doug. Great toys!

The animal stamps are cute but the ink pad is really poor. My daughter got this for Christmas and has used it a few times but the ink pad seems to be drying out already so I bought a new ink pad elsewhere.

I bought three of these sets as Christmas gifts and when my kids tried to use them, the ink in all three was completely dried out. Most barely left a stamp mark; some left nothing. I even tried to moisten them with a little water, but no luck. We usually love Melissa and Doug product, but these were a complete waste of money!

As many other reviewers commented, the ink pad that came with the set was dry before it was even opened. Luckily I knew this might be the case and had bought my niece an additional ink pad so she wasn't disappointed and not able to use the stamps. The stamps themselves are cute and both nieces liked them a lot. The wood stamps are nice and not cheaply made, so that is one benefit to the set.

These stampers are so cute and I like the array of animals. The images they produce are cute - but they are outlines, not filled in images. I love melissa and doug stuff generally, and this product is well made. Not sure it was the right fit for my 2 year old though. I know it's hard to judge size online, so I was surprised that these are really quite small. Not quite big enough for a toddler with limited fine motor control. They'd be better for older toddlers and pre-schoolers.

Great stamps for face painting on Kids. They love it and are so happy! Totally entertaining. Easy for adults and clean up is simple too!

The ink pad arrived very very dry... almost useless. Wondering how many years the company had kept it in their warehouse inventory before it was sold...
The little stamps are all right. My 4.5 year old son can master them without any trouble.
