Our son is 23 months old, and enjoys his "dog-dog." After playing with this dog numerous times at a local toy store, we decided to purchase one of our own. The dog looks real, but does not require walks, feedings, and definitely does not bark! Our son gives it hugs, pets it, and has even tried to climb on the dogs back! He has a good time with this dog, but we knew he would. We have no regrets w/ our purchase.

My 30+ daughter and I saw this fairly realistic and close to life size Lab while visiting NYC. She liked it immediately but it was a little too big to carry home on an airplane. I quickly located it on Amazon when I got home and ordered it for Christmas. "Licorice" now resides in her home and she says he is the best dog she ever had--no food bills, no vet bills, no walks demanded when you are least prepared.

As a dog trainer I regularly assess dogs with "dog aggression" issues. It has made my job SO much easier using this product!
Every dog (and cat) that has seen "Buddy" as I call him, has done a double take, then homed in for a closer investigation. In fact, when I took him out of the box in my entry, all three of my dogs gave him a THOROUGH sniff--hind end, front end, then my old Golden tipped him over and did a belly sniff!

This is a really helpful tool to have in my bag of tricks!

This plush Black Lab is strikingly like our real life Black Lab and that has made for some hilarious confusion. However, the seam around the ear opened up after just one day. It was an easy fix but the fact that it gave so easily suggests that this toy needs more delicate handling than your average plush toy, even at its very large size!

I bought this for my 6 year old daughter who saw one in a store at the mall. It was the number one item on her Christmas list. When I went back to the mall to buy it they were sold out. The clerk told me the brand and I was lucky enough to find it on Amazon for more than half the mall price! The lab is very life like. It is almost as big as our real lab and looks just like her. It's sturdy and well made. The best part is it doesn't shed, beg for table scraps, or make a mess of your yard. My daughter loves it too.

All of the dogs in our family were confused by this toy - is it a "real" dog? They all had to sniff and try to play with it. It was very comical. Incidentally, the "kid" loved it too!

My 7 year old son wanted a real dog for Christmas, but Dad doesn't. So this would have to do. Well he loves it and so does the whole family, he looks real and is cuddly!! Very good quality and just wonderful! Happy Mom

We have a Boston Terrier with aggression issues towards other dogs. We are working with a behaviorist who recommended a training dog, specifically a black dog, because those are harder for dogs eyes' to receive detailed information. This dog has been a tremendous tool for us to work with the dog and get him used to seeing dog shapes and not freak out. It's so lifelike that a pair of drivers saw the dog and stopped in the street, wondering when/if the dog would move. When I picked up the toy to go back inside, they rolled down their window and said, "Man, we thought that dog was standing so still!" So the entertainment value has been good, too. ;-)

My granddaughter is thrilled with this wonderful black lab toy. It looks so much like a real lab. Prompt delivery and good service.

This is the 2nd stuffie I have purchased for my work with dogs (teaching massage to their people & desensitizing with aggressive or fearful dogs) and wow did it TOTALLY fake-out my current foster guy who smelled it from nose to tail and back up, down, and every which way! We've named her "Schatzi" (sweetheart) and every time I enter the room I am startled to see her on top of my massage table and I have to catch myself not to correct her!
