Great size, but a little thin,

This review is from: Melissa & Doug Easel Pad Bundle 50 Sheets 2-Pack (Toy)
This paper pad works well with pencils, markers and crayons, but it is a little too thin for paints. We've tried finger paints, tempera and watercolors, but it just doesn't hold up well to any of them. I put individual sheets of paper on the easel for my 3 year old to use, but if I needed to readjust the painting while it was wet it often ripped (and if I waited to move it after it was dry, the paper always curled up).
If you are looking for a good sized pad of paper for drawing, this is a great product. However, if you need paper for your child to paint on, you'd be better off buying something else.

I am a teacher and I use these to make my anchor charts for my class. They are the perfect size. I also use them at home with my kids to make wonderful works of art!

This review is from: Melissa & Doug Easel Pad Bundle 50 Sheets 2-Pack (Toy)
CONS: this product states on the package "50 sheets of premium heavy weight white bond paper" and "great for pencils, markers, paints and crayons!" The paper is no thicker then cheep computer paper. I had looked for the weight rateing for this paper, but it is not listed. It is less then, but around the thinkness of 20 lb, copy paper. the box it was send in was too big and the paper shifed resulting in most of the corners getting bent. even quickly and spairingly useing"water color tempera poster paint" on it results in warped paper. you can't really keep pad on easel.
Pros: its cheep, its bright white. little kids don't care about, quality.
