I should have looked at the size of this toy because I just assumed that it was a good size toy. It is very small and not worth paying full price for. I was lucky to pick this up for 75% off but even at that price I will not buy these types of toys again.

I bought 10 of these for my 3 year old's birthday party. Yup....I painted race cars with 3 year olds. It was hysterical and fun, slightly messy but no big deal with a little planning! I did open the boxes ahead of time to glue the wheels on the cars. The kits come with glue but I used some Elmer's Wood glue because I figured it would hold better. Everyone (adults and kids) had a blast painting them at the party and they made cute party favors for the kids. At five bucks a pop, it was totally worth it!

We got a train version of this as a party favor at a birthday party, and I thought what a great idea. We usually give away plastic stuff that I'm sure gets thrown away. This was a great, artistic activity for my son to do. He is 3 1/2 and really took his time painting all the parts. Then when it dried, he enjoyed figuring out how to put the pieces together and adding the stickers. It was a whole afternoon activity. The one thing is it is not a car/train to play with like pushing it around the floor as boys do. It falls apart. It is really just to paint and put together and then look at. It would be amazing if it actually held up well enough to play with, but for this price, just the activity itself was great. I will be giving this away at his next bday party and we will collect more of these for my son and I to do at home together!

Bought this for my nephew who is big in to cars. He & his dad both seemed excited to have a craft to do together.

I bought this as a stocking stuffer for my 4 year old son for xmas. Read many reviews and people were complaining it was small. If you read the description you would have known the size. It was fine for us and my son enjoyed painting and decorating his car with daddy. Quick and easy.

My son thought this was great. He had a lot of fun painting and making it look like he wanted. I think he enjoyed making a mess most of all.

I would definitely recommend this to anyone with a child that enjoys being creative. You can also save the packaging and paint it a little at a time.

My husband and I purchased a bunch of these for our Christmas toy drive at church. We thought it would be a great activity for a child to do with his/her family...make it, then play with it. Also gives the kids something to do and a creative outlet. It also gives them a sense of accomplishment. I think this little kit is adorable, not overpriced (at least the sale we got!) and would be great for a little boy to have. We also bought a couple other themes. And would purchase again!

This toy is really small. Like, pretty much fits in the palm of your hand small. I was so shocked when I saw the box and the car inside. The boys I got it for were done with it and over it by the end of their visit for Christmas. I imagine the cars are going to have a serious accident in the yard. I thought it would be a fun craft big enough to keep them busy for a while. Objects appear larger than they are...

Got this for a 3.5 yr old boy, and he loved it! Great toy for 'Mommy and Me' or 'Daddy and Me' time! Great little gift, at a great price. Gotta love Melissa and Doug products! :)

The car is cute but it is much smaller than I expected. I am not sure if I read the description all of the way so the measurements could have been written about the product. If they were there, my fault but it is a little pricey for the size. Extremely fast delivery.
