I was so pleased with the dollhouse, dollhouse furniture and accessories, the quality of the furniture is very good. I can't wait to give this to my granddaughter for Christmas. She is 6 years old.

The set is really nice. The chairs all have cushions on them and all of the drawers and cabinets work like real ones. My boyfriend and I bought it for his 9 year-old godchild's Christmas gift and she loves it.

I ordered all of the Melissa and Doug furniture for my nieces. It is so very cute and pretty and detailed. I would buy this again. Also, I think that it is as sturdy as any small, deatiled item could be.

I purchased this Melissa and Doug dining room set for my 3 year old granddaughter. The scale is very realistic and the furniture is well made and sturdy. It is made from real wood. Every piece is made with attention to detail, including drawers that really work. I have previously purchased a living room set for the same child with equal satisfaction. You can't go wrong with anything you buy from Melissa and Doug.

Before opening the box, I could see smudges of cloudy goop all over the wood and cushion one of the chairs. Once I opened it, I checked it out closer, it was excess glue but fortunately, it was water soluble, so I could scrub it all off myself without too much damage to the chairs. While removing the table from the packaging, it came apart, the glue keeping the mini dowels in their paces had no hold. The Cabinet had a wonky that gets pushed in way too easily but can't come out easily. Huge bummer for my little girl's dollhouse, the other two room sets we bought from this brand were acceptable, but this one makes me wonder if they have any quality control whatsoever.

I loved the set for the grandkids dollhouse, but was disappointed when one of the chairs arrived broken in several places.

We bought this for our six year old daughter. She loves to play with my doll house and the furniture I had was falling apart. The detail on this is pretty impressive. It does look a little fragile, but so far it hasn't broken. The real working parts are a great detail!

The furniture looks even better in person. The doors open, and the scale is perfect for my daughter's pottery barn doll house. This toy is for ages six and up, but my four year old is playing with it and enjoys it. Much better quality then similarly priced doll house furniture we purchased at Target and Walmart. We will be buying more rooms.

Th product came promptly and was as described. I don't know how they can make such small wooden furniture for the price. Grandaughter was very pleased.
