Our first reaction was, "Wow this looks like real furniture!" This dollhouse living room set is very life-like and would be great in human size! It is very sturdy, well-made, and comes packaged securely to prevent damage in shipping. Fits very nicely in the matching dollhouse and is absolutely adorable!

The set is beautiful and realistic looking. The table has a real drawer, and the doors to the armoire open and close. The sofa, chairs, and ottoman are upholstered replicas of the real thing. Truly, the set is very cute. I purchased this living room set, after purchasing the Melissa and Doug Victorian Doll House. My seven-year old daughter likes to redecorate the house every time she plays. Just from moving the furniture around, in a matter of one week, all the wooden pieces have come apart. It's as if they did not apply enough glue, or the glue that was used is not very strong. In any case, ALL of the wooden pieces need to be reassembled. It's still a beautiful set, but my motto is, "If you're going to do anything, do it well." The glue connections SHOULD be stronger, but at least they disassembled cleanly. Therefore, they should be easy to put back together again.

Very disappointed in the Melissa & Doug furniture. I purchased living room, bedroom, kitchen and bathroom furniture sets for my 4-year old daughter's doll house. Without exaggeration, almost all of the furniture has broken. Some of the furniture came out of the package broken. I have had to glue it all back together. My daughter is not rough with the furniture; it just breaks very easily. I would NOT recommend this furniture nor will I purchase any more. The quality of assembly is simply not there and the price is a too high.

Well made and durable for little hands as well as the adult miniature enthusiast! I've gotten several of their products and am pleased with them all.

I love this living room, it looks durable, elegant and very well hand crafted. The bigger table has a tiny drawer that you can open up, you can also open the doors of the cabinet and the couches are very well done. It's a perfect set for a doll house!!

I was a little concerned by the reviews mentioning broken pieces that had to be re-glued, but the living room set arrived in perfect condition. It is well made and a good value for the money.

Do not buy this to go with the dollhouse that Mellisa and Doug sells becuase it will not work with it at all. It is waaaaaay tooo big. Very disappointing that they would sell something that is so far out of scale for something that you would logically figure it was built to fit.

This product is extremely adorable. I bought it for my 5 year old daughter and she was soo excited. The drawers actually worked. When I took it home she didn't want to go to bed that night. I have not had any experience with its durability as I have just purchase the item. They were a little small for my doll house.

This set came to us missing a leg on one of the chairs, but I called Melissa and Doug, and they sent me a couple replacements and let me keep everything else. I also feel like there is too much furniture for the dollhouse we bought. I found the furniture by suggestions for the particular dollhouse we bought, and it doesn't fit. BUT, I was very impressed with the customer service and the promptness of the replacement.
