Better than burried treasure, this fill and spill is a real find. Each creature has a unique feature and is brightly colored. Perfect for tiny hands, each day we find something different to enjoy. Some days the rattle of the octopuss is a favorite, and some days the squeak of the starfish makes us smile. And putting the pieces in and out of the little aquarium is endlessly entertaining. Everything seems well stitched and looks like it will last.

I am giving this as a gift- so I have yet to open it. It looks like a great toy, well made and nice packaging. It looks age appropriate and the colors and soft materials will definitely attract my nephew.

I am unsure what the "product description size" by amazon is referring to- as the product box is 12x8x6- so the toy appears to be 7.5 x 6. It is smaller than I thought according to the GIANT picture and product dimensions.

Received as a gift when DS was 4 months old. He didn't get into it until he was about 7 months old, but now at almost 9 months, he LOVES this toy. He specifically seems to love the starfish. Maybe it's the textured bottom that he likes to teeth on, or the fact that he can hold it from so many different angles. He enjoys the rest of them also, but the starfish is definitely a favorite.

The bowl itself is very well-designed for baby hands. DS can grab onto the sides easily because they're made to be flap-like.

I also like the fact that the toys inside are machine washable. Have already washed them several times and they have held up well. Other toys have lost their noise-making ability, or worn out in the wash, but no problems with these.

Other reviews mentioned that it's tough to get the toys out of the bowl. Probably true, but hasn't been a huge issue for us.

This toy never became a hit in our household because the opening is too narrow. It was hard for my daughter to squish toys into it, and definitely too hard to "spill" them out of it-- I'd have to pull them out for her, and that got boring for both of us. They'd wind up just sitting there, stuck.

Eventually, we gave up on the bowl and she just played with the little creatures in her playpen. The creatures are super cute... but I could have bought things like that cheaper if I were going to just use them as stuffed animals. What sold it to me was the "fishbowl" aspect, which looks great, but doesn't work in execution.

The little toys are cute and my 4 month old loves them, but the top of the fishbowl is too narrow to "spill" the toys out as the name implies. In fact, I had a hard time getting the toys out through the top. Maybe an older baby can get them out. The toys are machine washable, which is a plus, and they make cute sounds so they keep my baby's attention.

The fishbowl was an excellent toy for my small grandson. He enjoyed pulling the sea creatures out of the bowl and, sometimes, even put them back inside. He also learned the names of the various sea creatures. The bowl is sturdy and suffered no damage from his play. All of the pieces washed well and remained in excellent condition.

The bowl and sea creatures are really cute. They are soft and feel good. Each of the sea creatures makes a different sound. They are hard to dump out of the bowl though, which made it frustrating for my child. It might capture some child's interest, but it wasn't the case for mine and we ended up giving it away.

I bought this for my daughter's first birthday & she loves it! I've read other reviews about the top being too narrow to get the toys out but she had no problem. The toys are very colorful, durable & each make a different noise. She loves playing with all of it, including the bowl by itself.

My daughter received this for Christmas and she will sit for hours taking the fish out and putting them back in, I like this better than one that was just shapes because of the faces and we talk about what the animal is when she puts it back inside.

We received this toy as a gift when our son was 5 months old, and at the time, I had no idea how long-lasting a toy it would be. At first, we would remove each toy from it and he would play with them like a rattle. Each of the little sea creatures has a unique sound, whether it's a bell or a crinkle or a rattle or a squeaker. Later, it was a great toy because we could stuff the fishbowl full of other toys as well and use it as a container/toy box during travel. Finally, he reached an age where he understood the concept of "fill and spill" and would spend time putting the toys in and out. He is almost 18 months now and we still own the toy. I can't say it gets tons of play these days but he still sometimes plays with it - and now he can identify starfish and fish by name!
