I recently bought this table and chair set and put it together for my two year old. It's excellent quality, heavy solid construction. The main reason I'm writing a review though, is about Melissa and Doug's customer service. I had trouble threading a screw through one of the table legs, and found a number for the company on the underside of the table. I called, a real person answered, and they sent a table leg right out to replace the faulty one. No drama, the call was finished within 5 minutes. Hooray for a company that values their customer's time and doesn't give them the run around! I would definitely buy this set again.

This product is awesome! I had a minor problem with the chairs and Melissa and Doug sent me two new chair immediately - no problems and no hassles. I recomend their product and their company unqualified and enthusiatically!!

We have purchased many Melissa & Doug products for our children and have considered the money well spent due to the quality and timelessness of the products. This was probably number 11 (?) of Melissa & Doug products that we have purchased so I had no qualms or worries that it would not be superior in workmanship.

My husband quickly put the peices together and the set is very sturdy. Would highly recommend to other parents this product and other Melissa and Doug products. The set looks exactly like the picture provided.

I purchased this for my 15 month old grandchild because it was heavy and would not tip over easy. I am so pleased with the construction and design of it and all my grandkids loved it, so I ordered a second set for my 2 year old's birthday this month. It is sturdy enough that they can use it for many years.

I searched for a very long time on lots of different web sites and at stores for the perfect table and chairs set for our Granddaughter. This beautiful little set is just perfect and compliments her play room with it's style. Extremely easy to put together, my husband completed it in about half an hour. It is very sturdy, the style is unique...not just another white set, but rather has very interesting details on all pieces. It also arrived earlier than expected from this seller (Atomic) and in excellent condition. The box was in another box and it was wrapped very securely. As soon as one chair was assembled our 15 month old Granddaughter sat right down. She plays with this set constantly, putting her dolls in the other chair, bringing books over to the table and "reading". Other sets that we viewed in stores for more money are not as nice as this set. This was a definite hit and a great value. I would highly recommend it for any little girl.

We got this for our 19 month daughter. It took some time to put everything together, but it's worth it! the set is sturdy and adorable.

nonetheless, I think it is more appropraite for older toddlers. the chairs are tall, and my daughter who is pretty tall for her age sits on the chair without her feet reaching the floor.

Good quality, durable. Adults can sit in the chairs since they have a weight limit of 175 pounds.

The table was pretty easy to put together but the chairs took some time. My rave is mainly about how quickly the item came in -- I got it in less than 24 hours after ordering it and I picked just regular, standard shipping.

I was more than pleased when we opened this and put it together Christmas Eve for my goddaughter. She could not wait for us to finish and was sitting at the table before we could even put in the last screw. We were all surprised at how sturdy the chairs were. The grandfathers and grandmothers took turns "having tea" in the extra chair. I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for "kid size" furniture.

I bought this for my (then) 18 month old's play room. It looked great coming out of the box, was easy to assemble, and is probably the single most durable child's item I've ever seen. Nearly one year on it still looks brand new and she eats on it, colors on it, knocks it over, etc. and it rallies every time. It's not the flimsy plywood that cracks when you put a screw in it trying to put it together. I really can't say enough good things about this table or this maker in general. Highly recommended.
