I purchased this paper for an easel that is made by a different brand, therefore it was larger than the easel surface and hung off the edges a little bit. This is no problem, just worth mentioning as it might irritate some. I am happy to have very large paper that my 3 year old daughter can cover with crayon, marker or paint. Exactly what I was looking to purchase.

The thickness of the paper is medium. It is not too thin to be fragile, but it is not thick enough to be durable for intense painting sessions. Again, just for your information.

Overall, very happy with the paper, as is my 3 year old daughter. Even though it is on an easel made by a different company, it has suited our needs perfectly.

I never write reviews but i felt so disappointed by this product that i had to. I love Melissa and Doug products but not this one. It is a very cheap thin paper, it falls apart right away, it is good for markers only may be but not for crayons or paint. It does not hold the color. It is glossy and slippery. it is just not good.

This is a pad of large sheets of paper. It's not really all that heavy, and my daughter's markers and paints would easily bleed through. Not a problem - I just rip sheets out and use the cover as a backing rather than letting her just open the pad and go at it. I suppose I was expecting a little bit heavier paper, but all in all this is perfectly functional.

I had hoped it would be the same width as the Melissa and Doug Easel, because when my kids paint on it, they often go beyond the borders of the paper, and onto the whiteboard, which then makes it tough to clean up..The easy workaround to that is to simply put 2 pages in the "background" to cover up the entire whiteboard, so that kids can then paint away on this paper or the rolls of paper that came with the Easel, and if they miss the edge, the paint won't go on the whiteboard..

Gave with Melissa Doug easel. Compliments nicely. Would highly recommend. Kids love it. Nice size paper and texture. Works well with marker, crayons, water colors.

My 4 year old is an avid artist and loves this paper for painting or coloring with markers and crayons. Its thick enough to use tempura paint but you will need to hang it up to dry. Overall, good paper for kids art projects :)

Good quality easel paper. Rips cleanly. The only negative is that it's bigger than my Step 2 Easel. One sheet at a time fits, but the whole pad is too big. Just check the dimensions before ordering.

I was hoping based on reviews that I read that the paper would be a bit thicker so that it would not wrinkle and curl with painting as I wanted to save my kids work. This is my first experience with art paper for kids. I used it for finger painting with my 21 month old, using Crayola finger paints. It wrinkled while the paint was wet but when the paint dried it seemed to flatten out again except that the corners then curled up. It did not get the paper underneath it wet so that was a positive. I assume that if you kept it in an art carrier or laid a heavy book on top it would flatten out. I bought some extra large metal clips from Staples to hold it onto our Easel and it worked great that way. I took a water color painting course in college so I was hoping for paper with a bit of weight to it, this does not have any resemblance to that. I do not know if I will order it again unless it is just for the fun of it and I plan to throw away the art created.
