This was a gift for my girlfriend. She loves it and her friends ask her where I got it from. The Panda is soft (sheds a little at first) nothing major. Well made and has a good form (both arms and legs are same length, ex.). It is realistic as can be for a stuffed animal.
If you want a Panda for someone or yourself, this would be the perfect Panda. The seller answered my questions prior to purchase and I received it on time.
For the Panda Lover this is the Panda! Enjoy!

I read other reviews on Amazon about the bear before purchasing, so I was ready for the initial shedding. When it arrived, I went through about 10 lint roller sheets, going over the entire bear. This seemed to accelerate and alleviate the shedding before my daughter ever got her hands on the bear.

Otherwise, the bear is definitely large but not too heavy, which is great. The bear has been pulled and carried by just about every part of his body (ears, arms, legs, etc) and has withstood the treatment. I think my daughter will only grow to enjoy him more and more as she gets bigger and is better able to handle him! I would say that his fur is a little more coarse than I thought it would be, but he is apparently soft enough for snuggling, at least in my daughter's opinion.

I purchased a Melissa & Doug panda as a present for someone and just received it in the mail. It's even better than I expected it to be and a very high quality stuffed animal! It's nose is even well detailed, sculpted life-like and covered in a nice velvet-y material. The panda is very soft and fun to hug, with good quality fur.

It's also just as big as claimed. Being 5"1' I felt like I was getting a heck of a bear hug pulling this guy out of his box. He's pretty much as big as I am if you chopped off my lower legs.

I haven't seen a giant stuffed animal of quality this good in some time! Well worth the money. I'd have been thrilled to death to get this panda when I was little!

I got this Giant Panda for my girlfriend and it was as big and huggable as I wished...she loved it.

However, it sheds way more than I would expect any stuffed animal should. It's kinda of annoying as a result and the stuff can get in your mouth. Bleh. If it weren't for the shedding, this product would be amazing.

This panda looks good but unfortunately it sheds so much that you have hairs stuck on you with the most gentle stroke. It's also not soft at all. The material is made of some cheap synthetic fur that's definitely a health hazard if you have allergies. The only use I can see with this is a plain decorative figure in the corner of a room w/ a sign that says "do not touch".

The Plush Panda was everything I had hoped it would be and then some! I received it a day before the estimated delivery dates!

I asked my fiance what she wanted for Christmas. I'm thinking expensive necklace, shopping spree, or pink BMW. But, she wanted a panda plush from a restaurant we went to. I chuckled a bit and said, "Okay.." I looked at the price tag on the thing and was shocked by how expensive it was compared this is giant plush from Melissa & Doug. It was the biggest one they had in the store too. So, I go online to see if I can get a bigger panda for a better price and came across this item on Amazon and knew it was perfect! The moment I brought it home my finance tore open the box and hugged and kissed the enormous bear as if it were real. I couldn't be any happier with my purchase. The quality is great! Easily a great gift idea for any panda lover!

My wife found the panda bear online and since I have a thing for stuffed animals and panda bears she bought this one for me.
I was in for a large surprise, literally!
He is HUGE! He takes up the other side of my bed and I couldn't be happier! He's amazing to cuddle with and I would recommend this stuffed animal for anyone who loves them.
I can for sure say that in the future I will be buying from them myself ;).
I can say that he does shed a bit, its a minute defect that is only truly bothersome if you are a very neat person. People over exaggerated the shedding bit because in all honesty it's not that bad.
I cuddle with him ever night and I can say, as a grown woman, this is absolutely amazing :).

100% recommend to anyone looking for a bear the size of their torso haha!

The panda was alot larger than I had expected and was a great deal for the price. I was a little unhappy with how easily the fur came out and hope that it doesn't continue to do so. It is very soft!!

Hi, my daughter received this giamt panda for xmas. We looked around at different prices (ebay 65.00) but amazon put it on sale for under 42.00 offered 30.00 off if you apply for their credit card. free shipping it arrived within 2 days they said it would ship on the 8th and I had it earlier on the 5th. for under 12.00 how can you go wrong?? But would I pay 50-65 for it?? Yes Its very huggable. Its arms reach around her and can "hug" her back she sleeps with it every night and on a twin bed with 2-3 other big bears this is very hard to do. If your child loves stuffed animals this one will be loved too.
