My four year old grandson loved this truck with all the latches and hinges. We couldn't believe how much time he spent opening and closing--and mastering each closure.

The Latches Fire Truck was a huge hit for my son's third birthday. The birthday boy spent what seemed like hours opening each latch, looking in each compartment, testing each puzzle piece, and then starting again with the latches...

Soon he was rolling the truck around, making up stories with it, and riding on it. Our younger son loves it too, although he wasn't "allowed" to play with it until recently. The two compartments currently store plastic dinosaurs, a sock, and other valuables. There are five types of latches on the truck and each of the five windows is a magnetic puzzle piece that when removed, displays a scene from the inside of the truck. In addition to the windows, the ladders and grill are also puzzle pieces (our one-year old loves the puzzle pieces and carries them around). I highly recommend this toy for anyone who loves trucks.

We bought this fire truck for our son's 3rd birthday. Before it was even out of the package the light bar was broke off. It is a little educational but not very fun at all. It is poorly made. I wish I didn't waste my money on it.
