I wasn't quite sure as to whether or not my three year old son would like this puzzle. He has not really ever played with puzzles so I thought that he might have no interest in it or that he would get bored quickly. That has not been the case.

The first day that we opened it up, my little boy grabbed my hand and sat down and watched as I helped him put the puzzle together. As we put the puzzle together, he would try and name off all the animals. The minute we finished, he would happily yell out and break it up...the process would then begin all over again. We have only had it for a week, but already we have put the puzzle together about 20 times.

the puzzle pieces are good sized and well made so that they are not easily bendable or ruined. They are firm and made of good quality cardboard. 5 stars for the product!

This is a great puzzle for little ones. Often the colors of puzzles (even large ones) are too similar and younger children have a very difficult time working them. This puzzle is great because there are so many different types of animal skin, feathers, colors, the boat, the rainbow etc. The two year old even loves to do it and learn his animals. This is a great heavy duty floor puzzle. Another favorite of ours is the round Children of the World floor puzzle by Melissa & Doug.

Easy to put together because of the size of the pieces....very colorful and the puzzle pieces are extremely sturdy
