This piggy bank is much smaller than the 5 inches listed on the product dimensions. The box that it comes in is 5 inches tall and the little piggy bank is only 2 inches tall, barely large enough to hold 2 dollars worth of change. So think of it as a fun craft, but not as a useful piggy bank.

My kids; 3 and 7, love projects. This was perfect for them. They got to paint, re-paint, and paint it again until all the paint was used. It was a project success - it was easy, it had lots of paint, it still looked like a pig when finished, and yes, it could actually be used as a piggy bank after. There was pain of a lot of differant colors and some with sparkles (everyone loved that part). I also washed the pig once prior to the paint drying and had the the kidski paint it again!

We did't test how well the ceramic pig would hold up on a drop-test onto our stone floors.

The not so great. The pig is really small - a few inches at best. This didn't matter in the least to us.

If you want to create an heirloom, this may/may not be it. If you are looking for something fun to do, quick and easy, and can benefit from little supervision, this is a great one-time project.

This is practically useless as an actual piggy bank. It's tiny - not more than 2 1/2 inches from head to tail. Perhaps it would make a cute party favor or something, but even then - at this price, I don't know that it would be worth it.

It is in fact a piggy bank with a rubber stopper so you don't have to smash it to get the money out but it's VERY TINY. Might hold 5 dollars in quarters. It does the job but it's VERY TINY.

I bought this for my 3 year old son. He loved to paint it! It is very small. Much smaller than I thought it would be. But for a first piggy bank it is good!

I was shocked to see the size of this bank, maybe a dollars worth of change can be put into it.

This was a great craft at a good price. Everything was included and then you were able to just throw everything away without clean up.

I bought this bank for my 4 year little girl.. Came yesterday and let me tell you that its going to be lucky to hold $2.00 in Change.. Very tiny.. Not at all what I expected for the price and I would not recomend it to anyone.

I bought this as a gift for my niece and I have to admit I was disappointed by it. It is so small. I bet it wouldn't hold a roll of quarters. The whole box is smaller than one of my size five shoes. Other than that, it is cute and fun. Very good for girlie-girls.

I was shocked at how tiny this piggy bank was when I received it. I haven't taken it out of the box yet but it appears it can hold a couple dollars in change. My fault for not reading the description.
