I feel strongly that I have to share how excellent all Melissa & Doug products i've purchased for my son have been- this puzzle included. The illustration is vibrant and exciting for a 3-year-old dinasour fan, and the pieces are a perfect size for a pre-schooler to figure out and manipulate. Overall, another excellent toy from Melissa & Doug.

We've had this puzzle for about a month. My 3 year old son loves it and plays with it daily. Almost immediately the board holding the puzzle began to warp. That is okay, since he can use it without the board. BUT, in the last week, two of the pieces have broken. The ends where the puzzle pieces connect seem to be very brittle. We've glued it and he's still able to use it, but it won't be long before it ends up in the trash. We have several other (smaller) wooden puzzles by M&D, so I was really surprised to see the poor quality in this one.

Very nice, beautiful. my daughter loves this puzzle. Wish the pieces were thicker, as they are more cardboard like, than wood. Probably 1/4" thick (actually less). would be great if they had a little more feel to them. All in all, a nice puzzle

This was one of three puzzles we bought for Christmas for our little baby dinosaur (3 year old baby girl). It is the thickest and most durable of them all, and comes with a wooden backing to teach piece placement and keep the puzzle safe. We have found no problems with the board - especially if kept dry as it is not treated wood.

The baby raced through this puzzle and on to the 48 & 60 piece versions (she loves them all), but regularly plays with this one.

We're definitely a fan of Melissa & Doug's items and will continue to look for them as we buy more puzzles in the years to come!

As a person who already owns several Melissa & Doug's puzzles, this was another to add to our collection. The dinosaur theme was the attraction for this purchase. The colors are bright and appealing to a child of three years of age. Pieces are easy for a child to maneuver allowing them the joy of completing the puzzle on their own (or with a little adult assistance). Overall this is another quality product from Melissa & Doug.

I like Melissa and Doug products they are made well for the most part and stand up to toddlers rough handling. I am giving only 4 stars for this one because toddlers do put things in their mouths and I found with the Melissa and Doug puzzles, if sucked on enough, the paper on the top with the colors start to peel off. I got this for my 2 year grandson and we work them together, so he never is just alone with the puzzle, still he would put them in his mouth and chew while we were trying to find the right 'spot' for a piece and eventually the picture on top would start to peel off. But the pieces were big and chunk and the puzzle was easy for him to work with. I think this is a very good puzzle for a child over 2 years of age to have.

My 2 year old granddaughter is crazy for dinos. This puzzle is bright and colorful. The pieces are holding up to repeated puzzle solving by an enthusiastic toddler. The only problem is that the pieces are tightly fit and were hard to seperate the first few times.

The prehistoric Sunset Dinosaurs puzzle by Melissa & Doug is great. The colors are vibrant, the puzzle is just tricky enough for a 3/4 year old to have to work it a little bit and it's extremely durable. We love it!

This is a colorful 24 pc puzzle that is well made, as I expected from Melissa and Doug. 24pcs is still a bit challenging for my not quite 3 yr old granddaughter so we work on it together. She loves to dump it out and is learning about the corners and sides. I always recommend Melissa and Doug toys.

My 3 year old granddaughter loved this puzzle. It is very colorful I would definitely recommend this puzzle. It is very well constructed.
