This is a great product. We pretend to cook at the beach with this. My daughter loves to make soup so this is great. It is nice to have something to play with at the beach besides just a shovel and bucket. The product looks exactly as pictured. The cover doesn't really fit on very tight but it doesn't really matter for what we do.

My 3 year-old daughter loves playing with this set along with the cupcake set and plastic eggs. She fills the plastic eggs with sand, cracks them into the bowl, measures the rest of the ingredients with the measuring cups, and then whisks everything together. She then fills the cupcake holders and tray, and bakes her sand cupcakes. We have lots of sand toys, and this is definetly a favorite. It is sturdy and should hold up well.

This toy is a fantastic addition to our sandbox. So much more fun than a typical shovel and pail. And, offers creative 'cooking' play. She loves the whisk and spoon.

This is one of THE BEST sand toys I have ever come across (and believe me, we have a ton of sand toys!) The quality of this is outstanding, the plastic pail is actually sturdy & isn't likely to break/crack like every other sand pail that we've had. The measuring cups & spoon are so cute and lots of fun. The whisk is great for "mixing" the water and sand. The cover snaps on to keep everything in place, and also doubles as a sand sifter!!. I wish I could give this 5 stars, because it's just really that cute/durable/fun - however, the cover is kind of hard to snap into place (not sure if it's just mine or all are like that)so I give it a 4.75. Enjoy the fun in the sun with your child!!

What's a day at the beach without the best toys to play candy kitchen! My kids spent hours playing with these items.

This set is so much fun! My daughter and I love to bake things together in the kitchen, and the Melissa & Doug Seaside Sidekicks Sand Baking Set allows my daughter to "bake" things by herself outdoors without fear of making a mess or following a complicated recipe. The whisk and measuring cups are a fantastic addition to the set, as many children (myself included) enjoy "pretend" baking - in sand, mud, or anything else that we can get our hands dirty with.
An added bonus? The turtle lid even works as a sifter, and we've used it to filter out debris from my daughter's inflatable pool.
When we're done playing outside, we are able to store all the pieces inside of the bucket. I definitely recommend this set!

My 5 year old granddaughter loves to play with this when we go to the beach. I can always rely on Melissa and Doug products!

This is a great toy for the kids. My grandkids having been using it for hours of fun in the sandbox. A good buy for the price.

I saw these in a magazine showing new toys for kids and I couldn't wait to buy them. When they arrived, my kids were literally jumping up and down while I opened the clear plastic they came inside. So far, they've had lots of fun using them in the sandbox. I love that they can use their imagination and develop their fine motor skills with these. We also bought the Melissa and Doug cookie sheet and cookie cutter toys and they go great with these.

We bought this toy to go with our new sandbox for our daughter. She loves to pretend to cook, so this was perfect for her. It is really cute, and our daughter just loves it! Other reviews say they have a problem with the lid staying on, but so far we haven't noticed the lid being an issue.
