5.0 out of 5 stars Challenging puzzle November 22, 2007
Durability: 5.0 out of 5 stars    Educational: 5.0 out of 5 stars    Fun: 5.0 out of 5 stars
This puzzle has kept my son's interest for a couple of years now. Because the pictures under the pieces don't match the piece he really has to think about where each piece goes. It helps him now that he's 3 to identify the numbers and count items to figure out where they go, rather than just looking at the shapes.

3.0 out of 5 stars Where is the number 10? January 4, 2012
By Deborah
Educational: 3.0 out of 5 stars    Fun: 3.0 out of 5 stars
It would have been better if the number 10 was included in this puzzle. My son is learning to count to 10. When he is counting with this puzzle, he is looking for the number 10.

2.0 out of 5 stars Not water resistant -- one spill ruined the look November 27, 2011
Durability: 1.0 out of 5 stars    Educational: 4.0 out of 5 stars    Fun: 4.0 out of 5 stars
1. The 6 and 9 pieces are interchangeable...that led to some confusion.
2. I want this same puzzle with no glossy paper glued on. The remains of a drink were spilled onto it and the paper is now peeling off and it also absorbed the stain

The whole reason I buy wooden toys is for durability -- this same toy with just a stained/painted/plain wood would be perfect

Our son plays with this board while I'm feeding him. He's only 20 months, but using this board is helping us introduce the numbers to him. It's well built. Arrived in only a couple days. Our son loves it!!

5.0 out of 5 stars Fun Toy June 12, 2009

Durability: 5.0 out of 5 stars    Educational: 4.0 out of 5 stars    Fun: 5.0 out of 5 stars
My hyper active 20 month daughter loved it - while nothing lasts her interest for more that 2 minutes .. this kept her at one place for atleast 15 -20 minutes.

I was hoping that this puzzle will last long.. but my daughter was able to chip a couple of blocks after 2 months of active use.
(My daughter took out the door of our TV stand when she was 9 months - just to give you a perspective that this product is not too flimsy).

I definely recommend this product.

3.0 out of 5 stars Gets the Job Done April 13, 2009
By JudiAU
Durability: 3.0 out of 5 stars    Educational: 4.0 out of 5 stars    Fun: 4.0 out of 5 stars
I bought this because my 22m likes puzzles and has good hand-eye coordination. He has showed an interest in letters and numbers recently. I tried to find something that was nicer but couldn't. I would preferred a sturdier puzzle with more vibrant colors. I don't really expect much from M&D products and this lived up to my expectation: it gets the job done. But really, I wish it was nicer. It clearly isn't going to last long and I would have chosen something nicer if I had found it.

That being said it has helped his number learning. We often play with it in companion to an alphabet/number book.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great Puzzle November 16, 2011
Durability: 5.0 out of 5 stars    Educational: 5.0 out of 5 stars    Fun: 5.0 out of 5 stars
This is an excellent number puzzle for very young children. The pieces each have a peg so little kids can easily take them in and out. The design not only introduces children to numbers but the pictures underneath illustrate the amount the number indicates. Great for helping kids grasp the concept!

the pictures are a little off. The puzzle is durable and has survived slobber. I would recommend it for someone trying to help their younger kids learn numbers/counting.

I bought the product for a gift for my godson. Although he already lost number 7 (we'll find it eventually), he thoroughly enjoys playing with it. Product was in great condition.

5.0 out of 5 stars Learning her numbers.
Our 22 month old already knows her numbers. Sometimes mixes up 3 and 8 but I really think that this helped. She also is learning her colors and how to count.
