Excellence
I purchased this dollhouse for my 5-year old granddaughter. She is ecstatic and my daughter is thrilled! The dollhouse is a perfect size, the colors are great and the storage capability is wonderful for organizing clean-up. Once again, Melissa & Doug show their excellence in creating great toys that also can be heirlooms. Highly recommend.

A few "short" falls...
I love Melissa & Doug stuff. Their reputation in quality preceeds them, but do be aware: THIS DOLLHOUSE IS EXACTLY HALF THE SIZE OF THE STANDARD DOLLHOUSE!!! The pieces are VERY small, and luckily it comes with two dolls, because you will never find any more for this house any where. Normal dollhouse ratio is 1:12, and this one is 1:24. Amazon recommended a family set to...

I love Melissa & Doug stuff. Their reputation in quality preceeds them, but do be aware: THIS DOLLHOUSE IS EXACTLY HALF THE SIZE OF THE STANDARD DOLLHOUSE!!! The pieces are VERY small, and luckily it comes with two dolls, because you will never find any more for this house any where. Normal dollhouse ratio is 1:12, and this one is 1:24. Amazon recommended a family set to buy with the house, and I purchased it, but the family is way too big to fit inside. The house itself is beautiful and the furntiture has amazing detail, but if your kiddo loses any piece of it, I can assure you that you will never be able to replace it. We even looked on UK websites with no luck. However, if size isn't an issue for you, this is a sweet little house.
