Melissa & Doug Wooden Family Doll Set

My three year old son and 18 month old daughter love these dolls. My son pretends that each of these dolls is an actual person that he knows. They are great for individual play. The only complaint I have is that he has trouble getting them to stand up on their own.

These were a 4th birthday gift for my daughter and she adores them. She can get them to stand up and sit down easily. Having so many characters helps her come up with great little stories for them to act out. We're very pleased!

I bought these for use with the Ryan's Room Home Again doll house. They are perfectly sized for our doll house. The adults are roughly 4.5"; the kids are roughly 4". We've only had them for a couple of days; but so far, the girl doll has successfully ridden the rocking horse in the Ryan's Room Children's Bedroom; and the adults have all had a seat on the potty in Ryan's Room Bubbles Bathroom. The parents fit (laying down) on the bed in Ryan's Room Master Bedroom. No problems with these dolls in terms of sizing with Ryan's Room. My only complaints are the clothing leaves something to be desired and the grandfather's hair is scary (I'm planning to give him a trim); but there doesn't seem to be anything too much better on the market. I think for the price on Amazon, this set is the best value.

I purchased this little wooden family to go along with the Melissa and Doug Deluxe Wooden Furnished Dollhouse. These are well constructed bendable wooden figures and they are ADORABLE! I am a huge fan of Melissa and Doug products. It is so nice to have an affordable alternative to myriad of cheap plastic toys made with lead and PVCs! My 4 year old daughter plays with these dolls daily, sometimes for hours at a time. Fantastic product!!

My daughter received the Melissa & Doug Wooden Doll House Last Christmas. We thought that it would be nice to get more dolls for the house and purchased the wooden Family Doll Set. Didn't even cross my mind that the Melissa & Doug company wouldn't design their wooden doll sets to go with their wooden doll houses and furniture. Big disappointment. On our part we should have checked size but shouldn't these products go together? Not sure I'd recommend the doll houses & doll sets to anyone or purchase any more of their products.

I don't see anything wrong with the quality of the toy. However, my 7 year old daughter was not able to use them with her new doll house. They are too big to fit in most of the furniture that was purchased for the house. They are quite big and clunky. She wasn't very impressed with the faces...we weren't sure right away which was the day...his hair is a bit long, but she's older than many doll house owners so this may not bother a younger child. We had to go buy another set of doll house people that actually work with the doll house furniture.

These were fantastic dolls for my grand daughters doll house. We really like how you can pose the people and make them stand on their own or sit them on a couch. A bonus for us was the little baby that comes with the set. Might not be a big deal for some people, but my grand daughter loves babies and the first words out of her mouth when we unvieled the dollhouse was "Where's the baby?" And there it was. Fantastic!

Delivery was on time and the packaging was good. Are 2 & 3 year-old daughters have tested the durability of this product with their doll house and the figures seem to be in good shape. Very happy with them.

My kids love these simple wooden doll house toys. My youngest plays with them every time we go to our local children's museum, so I decided to buy her some for home. It's amazing how much fun they have, even though the design is so simple. They are a little pricey, but we wait until they go on sale and scoop them up. This is another great Melissa and Doug product.

This traditional family is so sweet! Posable and durable, though not for little ones who still put things in their mouths. Make a nice complement to the wooden house or castle. We purchased Schleich-brand horses and these dolls fit them as riders.
