Oh, what a joy it is to find faith-based toys that double as educational/learning materials! These puzzles are absolutely gorgeous and engender the same levels of simplicity, creativity and thought provocation as all of the other Melissa & Doug products we have tried (and we have many). The quality is exceptional and the printing really invokes the sensation of them being stained-glass windows with a view into the past. We have all eight of these in the series... each has 30 pieces and conveys a biblical story. Once the first two arrived and we took a look at them, there was no doubt we had to collect them all!

The children enjoy the Biblical storyline imagery which is altogether different than their other puzzles, as well as the challenge of these unique shapes -- since they are not standard, rectangular-shaped puzzles, these offer something special. Our preschool-aged children like to put them together, then "read" the story above to whoever is within earshot! The 3-1/2 year old can do them, but with some difficulty. The five year old can do them with relative ease.

They are lovely to have lying about the house and garner comments from everyone who sees them -- more like works of art than toys! So unlike other forms of children's entertainment, it seems these are just as pleasing to have around for adults as they are for children. A nice side-benefit! Enjoy them together and be blessed.... :)

I love this puzzle. It's a great challenge for my 4 year old. She was a little frustrated at first. I like the fact that she hasn't been able to master it in one day and then the toy sits on the shelf. It's not a toy she plays with daily, but that's o.k. I wanted something for her to do when she's bored or the weather is inclement. She needs some guidance but she's getting it. Love this toy. Want more!
