Having used Melissa and Doug products for years and been satisfied with the great quality this is the first item which disappointed me. The idea of the easel is great and my daughter loves the versatility of using chalk, white board pens, magnetic toys and paint with the easel. However, it was very difficult to put together, with the side screws not fitting properly, it was also chipped and damaged in places. It is also difficult to close for storage because of the screws mentioned above. Their standing easel is much better quality and value.

I was not real happy when i received the product as once we put it together the frames kept separating from chalkboard/dry erase board. We had to fix/modify it at home so we could use it. My son loves this product and we have had lots of educational fun with it on the dry erase board side but the chalkboard does not work. We tried both sides and neither side will work. Company definitely needs to improve quality of product.
