I'm only take off one star because I with these Melitas were unbleached. But that aside, when these Melita #2s began running out the first time I bought them, I grabbed some cheap unbleached brown paper filters at the supermarket... and they were awful.

Half the time I'd get half a cup of coffee out of them before the flow rate would slow to a trickle. Not so with the Melitas. They're sturdy, and they keep the cafe-brew coffee I make flowing nice and steadily until the end.

I highly recommend these Melitta filters....they fit perfectly in the plastic Melitta drip filter...plus, clean-up is easy and a snap

What can I say, these filters do a great job and seem to make my coffee taste better. Great product at a fair price.

The Melita filter is fine - I mean writing a review of a paper filter seems a bit over the top. I do think Melita is a bit pricey, and non branded paper filters work just as well. If you buy for the brand, no disappointment.
