I've wanted to use some unbleached filters for a while and these work perfectly. Somehow I didn't do the math and was surprised at how many I got. (1600 filters) So I'm set for a while on filters. They fit my Hamilton Beach Brew Station perfectly. Hold their shape through brew cycle very well.

Amazon had a great buy on the Melitta Basket Coffe Filters in Natural Brown so I ordered them. We compared these to If You Care Coffee Filters and they seem to be the same product. We could not find anything different when comparing them side to side. I usually buy If You Care brand or paper bleached with hydrogen peroxide (not bleach or chlorine). We got a great buy on these Melitta brown filters and am happy they are just as good. I like using unbleached paper products as with the hot water used for the coffee, it would leach any chlorine used for bleaching the paper white, into our daily coffee. Also, it is kinder to our environment, especially the fish living in our lakes, steams & ocean waters. Will check prices on both brands next time we need them.

This product is great! It filters the coffee grounds from the coffee as it is brewing! I am sure they have millions of other uses, but this is exactly what I needed and what this product is designed for. I picked these filters over the white ones because I assumed the white ones needed to be bleached in some way to be white. The white filters are just going to turn brown. Brown filters saves the bleaching step.

Happy to not have to think about buying these for awhile. Someone told me once that the best way to get bleach into something is to run hot water through it - like running hot water through a bleached white coffee filter. Don't know if it's true but I haven't used a white coffee filter since.

Buying this offer of 8 packages of coffee filters at one time cuts the price of these filters to less than half the regular retail price. If you have a microwave oven, the filters can also be used to cover things so there is not a huge mess inside the microwave. This is an excellent price for genuine Melitta unbleached basket type coffee filters.

I feel kind of stupid. For the longest, I thought American blend coffee gives out a sour taste. After using unbleached filters, I realized the sour taste came from using the bleached white coffee filters. Yuk! I never go back to them again.
I purchased these Melitta Unbleached Filters to use with my Presto 12-cup percolator. To accomodate its filter cup, I folded the filter in half and punched a hole in the center with a single-hole hand puncher. With 200 filters x 8 pack, I'd be having good coffee for years to come :o)

Works as advertised. I like that they are not bleached. They hold up perfectly during brewing.

We use these for a plate for a kids sandwich to a strainer for almond milk. They are great and the price is right.

Tons of these things arrived. I've been buying them for a few bucks a pack, so when i saw we could buy them in bulk i jumped. They are the exact same thing I've been buying from the store, there's just 12 times as much for 40% the grocery store price.
