First of all let me emphasize that I like strong, black coffee. I also appreciate that each Melitta coffee pod come individually wrapped. Keeps everything much fresher. So in the past have been very pleased with Melitta Buzzworthy. I also had good results with the Cafe Halo Kona Dark Blend pods. But like the regular Senseo pods, these come in a bag of 16 pods and are not individually wrapped. So I decided to try this Melitta Kona coffee, hoping for a blend of the best of two worlds. Unfortunately it is way too bland for my taste. So I can't recommend it if your preference is for a strong coffee.

I wanted to try the Kona blend in my One:One machine which had previously only had Buzzworthy Dark roast in it. I was pleasantly surprised by the non-bitter taste and that one of a kind aroma that only comes from Hawaii. 5 star rating

This Kona is truly delicious, best coffee ever from the Senseo machine. Once you try it you will be hooked, just like me ;-)

This coffee very good. I have tried several brands of Kona blend and this seems to be the be best, so far. Nice, light and bright.

Got these after searching for an alternative to the Folgers/Milstone Pods for my Krupps HomeCafe pod machine. The first 2 pods worked great and the coffee it made was pretty good, but after that not a single pod has produced a good cup of coffee. The pods seem thicker than the normal HomeCafe pods, but are smaller in diameter. This causes the water being forced through the pod to either just go around the edge of the pod or escape through the sides of the machine. The result is half cup of hot, light-brown water. Yuck. As a bonus, you get hot water spilled all over the counter.

I really wanted to like these, but they simply don't work in my machine despite the claim of "fits all pod coffee makers".

This is my first Amazon disappointment! OneOne java pods do not measure up to Senseo. The result is PALE in flavor and color. The pods are thicker than Senseo so cannot "double up" to improve taste. Since I have enjoyed ground Melitta coffee, I expected similar result with java poda -- but they do not deliver promised "fuller, richer cup!" What a waste.
